Common Questions
How fresh is the coffee when it ships?
We don’t pre-roast large batches and store them. This means your coffee arrives at peak freshness — typically within days of roasting. Most commercial suppliers can’t say the same.
Will the flavor be consistent from order to order?
Yes. This is one of our core commitments. We use the ROEST P3000, a professional roasting system that monitors temperature, airflow, and roast development in real time. The result is a roast profile that holds consistent across every batch — something most small roasters struggle to deliver.
Where can I find the roast date?
Each Mod Beans coffee bag includes a roast date sticker so you can easily see when your coffee was roasted. The sticker may be placed on the back or bottom of the bag, depending on the packaging. We roast in small batches and package carefully to help preserve freshness and flavor. For the best experience, store your coffee in a cool, dry place and enjoy it within a few weeks of opening.
What origins and roast profiles do you offer for wholesale?
Wholesale accounts have access to all seven of our traceable origins: Kenya AA, Kenya Peaberry, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Brazil, Colombia, Colombia Sugarcane Decaf, and Guatemala. Each has a distinct flavor profile and a named farm story you can use on your menu. Whole bean or ground (drip or French press) available.
How quickly will my order ship?
We’ll provide current lead times when you set up your account. Once shipped, delivery is fast — we want the beans at their best when they arrive.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship wholesale orders across the continental United States.
